About Me

Originally from Oxford, I have lived in Herefordshire for over thirty years.

After many years working in Primary education - both in the classroom and in pastoral support - I was confronted with some life changing events in my mid-40s that led to me undertaking therapy. Having personally experienced its hugely powerful effects, I made the decision to become a therapist myself, in order to help others benefit from the power therapy can have.

Having trained in Person-Centred therapy, I have gained both a Diploma and Degree in Counselling from the University of Worcester. I am a member of the BACP, and an Accredited member of the NCPS. Constantly looking to extend my knowledge around different mental health issues, I have undertaken training in areas such as trauma awareness, neurodiversity, and children and young people.

As well as having my own private practice, I also work at Herefordshire Mind both as a counsellor, and mentor to trainee counsellors.
